My Newest Hobby!

So, this last weekend was Memorial Day, and the weather was FANTASTIC!! Sunny the whole time! Not too hot, but warm enough to wear my little jean shorts and a comfy tank top. My husband and I took my little brother Kyle camping out towards Vernonia. That was fun, but not as fun as sitting by Vernonia Lake watching my little red and white bobber out in the water, anticipating a fish! We started of using powerbait, and that didn't work at all, so, we switched to worms later in the day...and guess what?! I caught my very first fish!! It was about 9 inches long--a Trout. By the end of the day, I also held the record for the biggest fish...(not to mention we only caught 3 total, one for each of us...ha ha) Quite an accomplishment, tho, being the only girl...!!! It didn't make the guys happy tho!!! :) So, when it's sunny out, you can bet where I'll be... (if i'm not stuck behind my desk at work.)

Oh.....btw....I hate the taste of fish, so, anybody want some??? :)

Drum Roll, Please..........

Okay!! This is it! Tonight is the night I, as well as millions of Americans, have been waiting for for several weeks. It is the night when we find out who is the winner of Season 8's AMERICAN IDOL!!! FYI- I am the BIGGEST FAN of this show!

For those of you who are not up to date, the two contestants are Adam Lambart and Chris Allen. At first, I hated Chris and was Adam's biggest fan. Not anymore. About three weeks ago, Adam's voice became annoying and I would never want to listen to a CD he put out. He does have a great voice, but he has a whiny tone to it. Not to mention the fact that he looks like he is in excrutiating pain when he sings. Chris, on the other hand, is just adorable. Yeah, he might look a little weird when he sings, kinda cute - actually, but his voice is definitally something I would listen to on the radio.

So, after many weeks of anticipation and lots of late-night votings (mainly for Allison and Chris), we will find out tonight who will be the next American Idol!

(Now, I have to find out what to do on Tuesday and Wednesday nights...hahaha!)

Trying to figure this out.....

So, this my first day on my blog and am SO excited! My good friend Michelle has been trying to get me to start one for a while now, and I guess I finally got tired of all the nagging!! (.....ha ha...just kidding michelle!) I'll tell you now, my page will probably be bare for a few days until I have some time to really sit down and make it my own, but for now, this will have to do.
